Fees & Billing Arrangement

We do not believe in surprises; nor do we hide our charge-out rates. Our fees are based on market rates, the skills and knowledge of staff and time required to complete the work at our normal charge out rates, plus disbursements and goods and services tax. Our normal charge-out rates for our engagement team are as follows:

As a professional service provider, we sell our time, skills and experience. Our senior team have
more than 30 years New Zealand and international of experience each.
Our tax-deductible professional fees and generally calculated based on the time, expertise, and
resources required to complete the agreed scope of work. The final fee for any engagement may
vary based on several factors, including:

BILLING METHOD
To ensure fairness and transparency, we implement a weighted rate system. This means our
accounting fees are based on the time and expertise required for each task.

For example, tasks that require specialised knowledge or senior-level expertise will be billed at higher
rates, while routine tasks will be billed at lower rates.

DISBURSEMENTS
We apply a small flat fee of $72 for tax management software if we prepare your tax returns.
Additional incidental costs (e.g., office supplies, postage) are billed at 4% of professional fees, capped
at $40 per invoice to keep costs manageable.

ANNUAL FEE REVISIONS
Our accounting fees are subject to annual revisions, typically effective on 1 April each year, with an
expected increase of approximately 5%.
